The tanning lotion is made for light to medium complexions. It glides on like a body lotion and develops gradually into a natural-looking golden tan, so you decide how deep your color goes. Avocado, black currant, borage, oat kernel and argan oils help keep skin comfortable while the color builds.

Once your tan has set, Body Nutritive Serum keeps skin nourished. Its blend of hazelnut, walnut, apricot kernel, avocado, kukui nut, rice bran and peach kernel oils with vitamin E absorbs quickly without a heavy or greasy feel. Skin that stays moisturized holds its color longer, so your glow looks fresh between applications.

How to Use

Use the tanning lotion first to build your color, then the serum every day to keep skin moisturized.

Sunless Tanning - Light to Medium Tones:

• Prep: Exfoliate, then wash with a gentle cleanser and dry your skin completely. Our Turbinado Brown Sugar Body Scrub and Daily Moisturizing Body Wash work well for this step.
• Apply: Start with a small amount and work it into one area at a time, the way you would apply a body lotion.
• Blend: Use less on elbows, knees, ankles and the backs of your hands so the color looks natural.
• Wash Your Hands: Wash hands and nails right after applying, or wear a glove, to prevent staining.
• Let It Dry: Wait 10 to 15 minutes before dressing, and avoid water and heavy sweating while it dries.
• Let It Develop: Wait at least 8 hours before showering. Reapply as needed for deeper color.

Body Nutritive Serum:

• When: After your tan has developed and you have showered, and every day after that.
• Apply: Apply to clean, damp skin and massage gently until absorbed, focusing on any dry areas.

Tips

• Apply at Night: Apply the tanning lotion in the evening and let the color develop overnight.
• Moisturize Daily: Use the serum every day after your shower. Well-moisturized skin holds its color longer.
• Control the Fade: Exfoliate less often to keep your tan, or more often if you want it to fade faster.
• Keep Using Sunscreen: Self-tanner color does not protect your skin from the sun. Use sunscreen when you are outdoors; the serum can be worn under it.
